It is a bumpy ordeal.to get the baby out of the car having to jolt and jerk the car seat to get it out. It is fairly long car seat which prohibits the front passernger seat from moving back. The car seat also has multi-positions sun shade that can be adjusted to help cover my baby eyes. Two years later I had a baby girl, and we got the car seat out of storage. I don’t like to write negative reviews, but I think my experience with this car seat should be shared so that new parents don’t have the same frustrations. They used new material for the car seat that is no longer require added fire-retardant chemicals. Previously we had a different brand of infant car seat and I could tell right away that the Maxi-Cosi quality was much better.
