]]> you can take out the lightweight, inner carrier from the outer car seat shell, throw its strap over your shoulder, and walk around with freedom and ease. The shoulder strap is an excellent addition when you want to keep baby in the seat without the stroller, or don’t want to transfer to another body carrier. We have really enjoyed the Coral XP seat, the baby appears to be very secure and comfortable in the seat. I do need to use the whole seat when at the park with my older ones if I want to use the canopy, though. I LOVE the removable inner carrier, as it’s so much lighter and compact to bring into the house from the garage. It’s much lighter and less bulky than maneuvering a full, hard shell seat. when I take all 3 kids to the beach and have my hands full!I was super excited to get this car seat & had high expectations for the brand.
